POINTING ADDITIONAL DOMAIN NAMES TO YOUR ACCOUNT You can point (park) additional domain names pointing to your main home page for your account.

There is a one time setup fee of $10.00 per pointed domain name. HOW TO CHECK IF THE AVAILABILITY OF A DOMAIN NAME You can use our whois lookup script and domain wizard to check domain name availability: HOW TO REGISTER NEW DOMAIN NAMES (.COM, .NET, .ORG, AND .INFO) ZapHost has a partnership with Bulk Register to register domain names for our clients. We can register new domain names with Bulk Register for $19.95 for a 1 year registration. We also offer multi year registreations. This is a $15.00 savings over Network Solutions. Bulk Register is accredited by ICANN as an official registrar of the .com, .net, .org, and .info Top Level Domain names (TLD's). To use this service, indicate on your order form that you would like us to register your new domain name where requested. The domain name registration will be submitted to Bulk Register upon receipt of payment for the registration fees.
If you do not prefer to do this, you can also register your domain name with Network Solutions or other registar using our Domain Name Server information:
Zaphost requires International domain registrations to be completed by the owner of the domain.
Please contact our technical support staff (support@zaphost.com) for information that you will need when registering. You do. When we register your domain name with Bulk Register, you are the administrative and billing contact.
Since Zaphost registers your domain name, we will remain as the technical contact. If for any reason you do not want us as the technical contact, you will need to contact domains@zaphost.com to make these changes. We, of course, will setup your domain name on our servers within 24 hours. While setting up your site, we will also work to register or transfer your domain name. It takes 24-48 hours to complete new domain name registrations once processed. However after this time period, it truly depends on ALL networks and ISPs of the world to update their servers and lookup your new domain name. Some popular dial-up ISPs (i.e. Earthlink) take less than 6 hours to update their servers, while others will take more than 3 days. So if you are still using a dial-up connection to the Internet, make sure you have a reliable ISP that promply updates its DNS servers, so you can access yourdomain.com right away. |
